A SMALL RITUAL

Give yourself three quiet minutes.

  1. Choose a reading and write your question

    A five-card reading offers open exploration without a fixed spread. An A/B comparison explores two choices: enter two distinct options, A and B.

  2. Shuffle and follow your intuition

    Drag the semicircular compass, tap a card back, or use the center button to draw the card at the pointer. You can also draw randomly or fill the remaining slots automatically. A five-card reading draws 5 cards. An A/B comparison draws 3 for A, then 3 for B: 6 unique cards with no repeats across groups. Numbers record draw order, not fixed roles. With reversals enabled, each card has a 50% chance of being reversed.

  3. Reveal the cards and take your prompt

    The prompt includes your question, card names, orientations, and draw order. An A/B prompt also includes both options and their card groups for comparison. Copy it, then open your preferred AI tool and paste it yourself.

Beyond the Symbols is a quiet space for drawing tarot cards. The images and symbols are a starting point for reflection. We hope they help you hear your own thoughts, rather than decide your future for you.

No accounts, no AI connection, and no collection or storage of your questions. Shuffling and drawing use your browser’s secure random number generator. Choose your own interpretation tool; the decisions remain yours.
UPRIGHT & REVERSED

About upright and reversed cards

An upright card is shown in its usual orientation; a reversed card is rotated 180°. Reversed does not mean bad. It may suggest inner change, blocked energy, or an angle worth reconsidering.

With “Include reversals” enabled, each card’s orientation is chosen independently at random: 50% upright and 50% reversed. Turn it off to keep every card upright.

Whatever the orientation, tarot is not a certain prediction.
